Mango wood is typically used for making small wooden articles in India and the bark is usually discarded. Our Endurance Candle Bowls have been pieced together with reclaimed tree bark pieces collected from seasoned renewable mango trees. Each rustic Endurance Bowl is rimmed with recycled mango wood tree bark and is lined with a metal plate to ensure safe burning. Due to the nature of hand piecing the containers, each candle will vary slightly in appearance.
Our Endurance candles are hand poured in Georgia, by our experienced candle makers, with sixty four ounces of a clean burning, United States grown, fragranced soy wax blend with a high-quality fragrance compound oil. Our distinctive fragrances are saturated with layers of nuance, complex and intricate, and are designed to evoke a particular time and place, triggered by memories and nostalgia.
Beginning with the design conception by our staff, our vessels are individually created by artists all over the world. Every candle is crafted in small batches in our studio, by artisans with meticulous attention to details from mixing of the ingredients, hand pouring the wax and adding the handsome leather dustcover. This candle should give approximately fifty five hours of burn time. And, as with all our candles, the Endurance Bowl can be reused once the wicks have burned away, and it has been cleaned out, by refilling with our easy Candle Making Kit, or repurposed as a decorative container for your table, counter or desk, to be used time and time again.
