Taking our inspiration from antique Indian spice pots, our Wooden Spice Pot is a renewable mango wood container with a flower shaped metal hinge for the sliding lid and black tin liner to ensure safe burning. The Wooden Spice Pot has a dark ebony stain and is hand carved. Due to the nature of hand carving, each candle may vary slightly in appearance. This candle is six inches by three with two wicks. The Wooden Spice Pot is hand poured in Georgia, by our experienced candle makers, with sixteen or twenty-four ounces of a clean burning, United States grown, fragranced soy wax blend with a high-quality fragrance compound oil. Our distinctive fragrances are saturated with layers of nuance, complex and intricate, and are designed to evoke a particular time and place, triggered by memories and nostalgia. Beginning with the design conception by our staff, our vessels are individually created by artists all over the world. Every candle is crafted in small batches in our studio, by artisans with meticulous attention to details from mixing of the ingredients, hand pouring the wax, hand tying of the hand dyed silk ribbon, and boxing the candles. This candle should give approximately forty hours of burn time. And, as with all our candles, the Wooden Spice Pot can be reused once the wicks have burned away, and it has been cleaned out, by refilling with our easy Candle Refill Kit, or repurposed as a decorative container for your table, kitchen counter or desk, to be used time and time again.
