Inspired by vintage containers, our General Store Jar candles bring forth nostalgic memories of old-fashioned candy jars found in country stores. This candle has one wick and is three inches by four inches tall. This candle container is made of ribbed, silvered glass with a matching inset glass lid, and attractive, hand dyed silk ribbon, reminiscent of old-style mercury glass candy containers. The General Store Jar is hand poured in Georgia, by our experienced candle makers, with nine ounces of a clean burning, United States grown, fragranced soy wax blend with a high-quality fragrance compound oil. Our distinctive fragrances are saturated with layers of nuance, complex and intricate, and are designed to evoke a particular time and place, triggered by memories and nostalgia. Beginning with the design conception by our staff, our vessels are individually created by artists all over the world. Every candle is crafted in small batches in our studio, by artisans with meticulous attention to details from mixing of the ingredients, hand pouring the wax, tying the hand dyed silk ribbons and boxing the candles. The General Store Jar comes in our signature fragrances of Bourbon Vanilla, Manor House, Pomander, Mistletoe, Red Currant, and Tobacco Bark. This candle should give approximately sixty hours of burn time. And, as with all our candles, the General Store Jar can be reused once the wick has burned away, and it has been cleaned out, by refilling with our easy Candle Making Kit, or repurposed as a decorative container for your table, dresser or kitchen counter, to be used time and time again.
