Our Curiosity Jar candles are vintage inspired glass jars, with distressed and aged galvanized metal screw top lids. They have one wick and come in two sizes. The large Curiosity Jar is three inches by three and a half inches tall and the smaller jar is two inches by two and a half inches tall.  Each Curiosity Jar is hand poured in Georgia, by our experienced candle makers, with either four or ten ounces of a clean burning, United States grown, fragranced soy wax blend with a high-quality fragrance compound oil.  Our distinctive fragrances are saturated with layers of nuance, complex and intricate, and are designed to evoke a particular time and place, triggered by memories and nostalgia.   Beginning with the design conception by our staff, our vessels are individually created by artists all over the world. Every candle is crafted in small batches in our studio, by artisans with meticulous attention to details from mixing of the ingredients, hand pouring the wax, and boxing the candles.  The Curiosity Jar comes in our signature fragrances of Bourbon Vanilla- Madagascar vanilla beans laced with a hint of malt whiskey, musk and amber; Ginger Patchouli- a spicy, sweet ginger, and warm, earthy patchouli with a touch of musk; Grapefruit Pine- grapefruit, plum, Siberian fir, musk and sandalwood; Juniper Incense-cedarwood, lavender, raspberry  and cinnamon; Lilac & Leather- hyacinth, lilac, violets, bergamot, patchouli and leather ;Mountain Forest- geranium, pine needles and wild berries; Sugared Lemon- a sweetened lemon and orange with hints of vanilla; and Tobacco Bark- dark rum, incense, sweet woody tobacco, citrus, clove and vanilla.  This candle should give approximately twenty five hours of burn time for the smaller jar or fifty hours for the larger.  And, as with all our candles, the Curiosity Jar can be reused once the wick has burned away, and it has been cleaned out, by refilling with our easy Candle Making Kit, or repurposed as a decorative container for your table, dresser or vanity, to be used time and time again.
